1931 Ford Street Rod

Special Interest Auto Sales is proud to offer this very unique and well done 1931 Ford Model A Sedan Street Rod.  The vehicle started out as a 4-door and after countless hours of labor the result is a beautiful custom one of a kind Rod.  As can be seen in the pictures attention to detail and some very high quality workmanship went into producing this beautiful car. The car is loaded with all the equipment that old school street rodders demand.  This is truly an Old School Rod with Old School looks to take you back to a time when life was simpler.

Exterior Features

The Exterior of the car is stunning.  The Sedan body is covered with slick black paint accented with a very high quality and tasteful "Champion Spark Plug" logo on the side.   There are also a couple tasteful pinstripe features on the car - nothing personalized that really set the car off.  The engine compartment of the car features a black and white checker board firewall that grabs everyones attention.  The fenderless steelie wheels with baby moons and Coker wide white walls capture a time gone past.  This is truly an OLD SCHOOL ROD!!!!

Interior Features

The interior of the car is as stunning as the exterior and continues the american grafiti feel.  The front and rear bench seats are covered with white and black vinyl trimmed with red piping.  The interior sides are covered in red vinyl and the headliner is white vinyl, all in excellent condition.  The carpet is black and like new.  The dash features an Autometer gauge cluster with fuel level indication, water temperature, oil pressure and an odometer which has never been hooked up (the vehicle has approximately 4000 to 5000 miles on it since completion).  The cluster is surrounded with a chrome shroud with built in turn signal indication.  The car has a genie shifter and a very nice steering wheel and column.

Mechanical Features

Mechanically this car is awesome.  The vehicle is equipped with a recently rebuilt 327 small block chevy that as can be seen in the pictures is decked out with chrome components and is very well done.    The car has a walker radiator.  The car has a 350 turbo automatic transmission.  The car has a 9" ford rear end.  The dual exhaust flows through ceramic coated headers to flowmaster mufflers and has an awesome hot rod sound.  The car is sitting on a Brookville frame that is painted gloss black.  The car has a TCI front end with a 4 bar link system with a panard bar.  The car has coil over springs in the rear.  Disk brakes in the front and drum brakes on the rear make for easy braking.  The car runs and drives excellent.

This car is truly a one off representation of the times of the past.  As can be gathered from the builder of this car took much pride in putting together a spectacular vehicle.  This is a vehicle that really needs to be seen to get the respect it deserves and it is for this reason that we highly recommend a pre-offer inspection by serious buyers.  If you have any questions about this old school rod please feel free to call Tom at (513) 608-8121.
